Modern fire trucks are full of numerous controls and fluid sensors: water level, water pressure, water flow rate, tire pressure monitoring, vehicle grade, slope indication, etc.

Many pressure sensor manufacturers offer sensors that can survive in the mining truck industry. But few have the optional configuration of having both pressure and temperature readings from one device.

When you are troubleshooting an issue with your sensor or device, we strongly recommend completely removing it from your system to bench test.

The difference between PSIG and PSIA is what they use as their reference pressure. The reference is the base line from which the measured pressure is compared.
